The Composting and Food Waste Reduction (CFWR) cooperative, administered by the Department of Agriculture, assists state, local, and tribal governments with projects that implement compost and food waste reduction plans. The goal of this grant is to increase access to compost for agricultural producers, improve soil quality, and reduce food waste from landfills. Applications are due by September 4, 2024.
