This Innovation Lab incorporated interactive learning experiences with tours of the Chicago Park District park system while leveraging some of Chicago's regional and health planning experience to help directors and agency leaders learn about and discuss innovative solutions to our community's biggest health challenges.
Economic Impact of Parks and Recreation: Based on Chicago Park District’s recent economic impact assessment, the Innovation Lab examined how Chicago Park District's special events, signature spaces and neighborhood parks and recreation assets create tax revenue, increases property values and benefit people in all parts of the city.
